Our Staff

Pastor Steve Johnston:

Ordained in 2006 and called to Trinity in April 2012, Steve often brings his musical talents to worship in the middle of his sermons or with the Trinity praise band. You never are quite sure what direction Pastor Steve’s sermon will take – song, conversation, drama or teaching. Steve always likes to include the Gospel – good news for the hearer and also the “Monday Morning Factor” … how can I apply this come Monday morning?

Ross McDonald:

A native of London, Ontario, Ross is our Director of Music at Trinity Lutheran Church. While growing up, his interest in choirs, school band, dance band, jazz, piano and organ studies led to his enthusiasm for classical and theatre organ performance. He has served as vice-chairman of the Royal Canadian College of Organists – London Centre. Ross has played keyboards or been musical director for many musical theatre productions in the area. He has performed for audiences on both classical and church organs and the “Mighty” Wurlitzer theatre pipe organ, including Theatre Organ Chapters in Palm Beach, Florida; Ann Arbour, Michigan; Rochester, New York; North Tonawanda, New York; Casa Loma, Toronto, Ontario and Kingston, Ontario.

Ross is also known for his legendary theatre organ accompanying of silent films such as Phantom of the Opera, The Ten Commandments, Wings, and Laurel & Hardy. In July 2005, Ross played a Midnight Theatre Organ concert at Trinity Lutheran for the Royal Canadian College of Organist’s National Convention in London.

Annette Cantell:

Annette, our Church Coordinator, has been at Trinity since 1995 and she keeps us all organised.  There is not too much that she does not know about Trinity and its people.

Call Annette to book rooms, rent space, make a donation to use our parking lot, communicate news or volunteer.

Randy Sinclair: 1962 – 2022

Randy joined Trinity staff in 1993 as our custodian. We mourn his sudden death in 2022. He is missed by all of our Trinity family. We pray for his family and friends.

May eternal light shine upon him and may he rest in peace.
